Our Story
It all started in a small garage (because let’s be honest, all great companies apparently start there). We realized the world needed us – not in a superhero kind of way, but more in a “Hey, we should probably fix this moisture problem” kind of way.
So we did. And here we are – saving your products from condensation disasters one dunnage bag at a time.
Over the years, we became trusted protectors of Australian goods, standing between cargo and chaos. In 2019, we took things to the next level by bringing together three powerhouse brands – Absortech Australia, Absorhome, and Cargo Care Specialists – under the Pro-Ex banner. This union allowed us to offer an even broader range of products to meet our customers’ evolving needs.
And it’s not just containers anymore. From keeping bulk grains safe in storage, to extending the shelf life of your jerky (or biltong, depending on your allegiance), and even protecting those gourmet treats you spoil your furballs with – we help preserve the things that matter.

I’m the Sales Director – which mostly means I try to look busy. 😄

How did you end up here?
We immigrated to Australia and were approached by Absortech in Sweden to go into partnership. It was a bit daunting – we had four kids under the age of four at the time! My background is actually in Food Technology, so this was a twist I didn’t see coming.
Odd skill or unexpected strength?
I can speak Afrikaans and Portuguese – not something I use every day, but it comes in handy from time to time!

Walking, catching up with friends, or watching my kids play sports. My knees have officially retired from basketball and netball.

Honestly, it’s a blur – the days fly by and the to-do list somehow grows. But mostly, I’m the one trying to keep the chaos organised and the people on track.

I came in for a few hours a week when my kids were little. Now it’s over a decade later, my kids are grown, and I’m still here – with more hours, more responsibility, and probably more highlighters.
